Quake Champions consists of 11 game modes, including 6 team modes and 5 non-team mode. It also offer a number of arcade modes for fun casual play. Each mode has a different objective, and they often require different strategies to succeed. Quake will challenge each combatant’s skills and track their progress in these modes.
Team Deathmatch #

Capture the Flag #
In capture the flag, two teams will face off and attempt to snatch each other’s flag while simultaneously defending their own. Such a task will require multiple players using teamwork and their own individual skill to attack and defend.
- The two Teams consist of 4 players each
- Score a point by stealing the enemy team’s flag and returning it to your team’s base
- To capture and score a point, your team’s flag must not be taken
- Matches are split into 2 halves and teams will switch bases
- The team with the most flag capture points wins the match
- If the match results in a tie, the team with the higher XP wins

Clan Arena #
Two teams face off against each other. Kill the enemy team to win the round. First team to win 7 rounds wins the match.
- The two Teams consist of 4 players each. (2v2 Is 2 players per team, 1v1 is 1 player per team.)
- Eliminate the other team to win the round
- Players fight until one team wins 7 rounds
- Players do not respawn when killed until next round
- Players spawn with all weapons and full ammo, no items spawn on the map
- Players do not drop items on death (shards, health, stroyent, weapon)

Slipgate #
For attack and defend, two teams take turns assaulting the Slipgate, while the other team defends the Slipgate. Players must be careful as they only have one life per round.
- The two Teams consist of 4 players each
- Score a point by closing the Slipgate as an attacker, eliminating the enemy team before they close the Slipgate as a defender, or keeping the enemy team from closing the Slipgate in the 2 minute round time limit as a defender
- As a defender you must not let the attacking team close the Slipgate
- If you eliminate the enemy team as an attacker, you still must close the Slipgate to win the point
- Matches switch each round from attacking to defending
- The first team to score 7 points wins the match
- There is no self damage, nor weapon, health, or armor spawns
- Players spawn with over max health and armor, and with all weapons

Sacrifice #
- The two Teams consist of 4 players each
- Take the soul and deliver it to your team’s obelisk

- Soul must be at your obelisk for 2 minutes total to score the Sacrifice
- Win 2 rounds to win
