Quakers…The Elder Gods have Spoken the Time has come to make the pilgrimage back to Grapevine, Texas USA my friends.
QuakeCon 2023 has been officially announced by Bethesda. The festivities will be starting Thursday August the 10th, and continue to Sunday August the 13th taking place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. QuakeCon has really “transformed” over the years. It started as a small fan meet up all the way back in 1996, but has slowly become one of the industries most iconic, and influential CONS. This Year’s event will be a nice return to form with Bring Your Own Computer being the main focus. In fact this year will be a ticket only event for BYOC guests only. There will be no General Admission for this year’s QuakeCon.
Currently the events officially announced are the Quake Pro League Season 4 Championship taking place at QuakeCon, the BYOC events, Programming on Twitch, Tabletop Village, and QuakeCon Finals Party! We will definitely get more information on what more to expect from QuakeCon later this summer, and when more information posts we shall update the community.
The BYOC will have 3 different types of tickets that you can Purchase.
- Standard $75 On Sale April 21st
- Premium (Formerly QDQ) $200 On Sale April 21st
- Elite (Formerly UAC) $400 Drawing Opens April 11
- There will also be another option to ONLY spectate the Quake Pro League that will open on Wednesday, May 10th, but no price has been given yet.
