Spanish esports organisation Keencon has announced that they will return to Barcelona this year with a €5,000 offline event taking place between November 10-12.
The news were posted today on the organisation’s Twitter, where it was revealed this year’s event is sponsored by Adrenal1ne Events, offers 32 spots for anyone from around the world to grab, and will take place in the same studios as last time. The prize distribution will be €2,500 for first place, €1,500 for second and €1,000 for third, as well as gear prizes for all three placements from mousepad manifacturer Artisan. Keencon will also, just like last year, give away two trophies alongside the prize money: Best Railgun and Best Lightning gun.
Last year saw several notable players attend, such as Myztro Gaming players RAISY and ZenAku, Dragonborn eSport members dramiS and cnz, Canadian Pro League veteran cha1n, Quake World Championship 2022 bronze-medalist maxter, UK Challenger RMV along with many top players from the Spanish community.
The event comes appreciated by the community, especially during the notorious off-season, and many top players have already showed interest in the tournament on various channels.
