Admin The first week of play for the current pros in the Quake Pro League wrapped up Sunday with some surprising results on only a few counts.
GaRpy came out on top in the first match up vs spart1e, taking the match in 2-1. Spart1e was the favored winner in that set. VengeurR and toxjq’s match up went pretty much as predicted, with the young italian taking 2 maps from toxjq’s 1. Base and Av3k’s results also held no surprises as base took 2 to Av3k’s 1. RAISY surprised us by taking 2 maps over Xron’s 1, predictions were that it would be the opposite.
For the Americans, All went pretty much to predictions as sib took 2 to br1ck’s 1 map. Effortless did give one map to dramiS, but still came up with the win by taking 2 maps. nosfa swept psygib by taking him 3-0. The only surprise on this side of the globe was rapha’s 2-1 victory over DaHanG.
