OldHickory Good morning Quakers. What a beautiful day we have before us. QuakeCon 2022 has been officially announced. The festivities will be starting Thursday August the 18th, and continue to Saturday August the 20th. QuakeCon has really “transformed” over the years. It started as a small fan meet up all the way back in 1996, but has slowly become one of the industries most iconic, and influential CONS. With E3 bowing out this year QuakeCon may be the Premiere place for all our id Software, Bethesda | Zenimax announcements. The event will be an all digital event again this year, but the wording does indicate they hope to be in person again next year (2023). So, no intention of this being permanent.
What ever will be happening at this year’s QuakeCon has not been announced yet. We in the past have had the Quake Pro League World Championship at QuakeCon, but this announcement has not happened at this time. The next batch of news is slated to be revealed in June, so more news will be trickled out to us over these next 4 months.
